Mt. Tom Ski Area ran from 1962 to 1998. Two chairlifts, a rope tow, and a view straight down the Connecticut River valley. Half the valley learned to ski there on a Saturday morning lesson, and then one winter it just didn't open.
It isn't coming back. This is the patch it should have had.
